About Us
Strathalbyn Auto Collectors Club Inc. (S.A.C.C.)
The Strathalbyn Auto Collectors Club exists to encourage the restoration, preservation and use of all models, makes and types of Motor Vehicles and Motor bikes with a manufacture date in excess of 25 years.
We aim to foster, promote and encourage in all age groups an interest in appreciating older vehicles with the hope of encouraging new members to join our club.
The benefits in joining our club include family participation in all of the clubs activities, hospitality, privileges and conveniences enjoyed in connection with the club such as monthly weekday and weekend trips. A yearly weekender trip is also organised to different regions of our state.
The club aims to participate in all community events in our region and beyond, including country shows, street parades, festivals and show and shines. We also aim to foster and promote interaction and joint involvement between the local community and other historic motoring or community clubs by making the community aware of the clubs activities via our own club newsletter or local newspapers. Through community involvement we hope to promote goodwill between clubs and make all members aware of the clubs activities.
The club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7.30pm at the Strathalbyn Neighbourhood Centre, 6 Parker Avenue, Strathalbyn.
Please note the club is closed from mid-December to mid-January. During this time there will be no club meetings and committee members will be taking a break from correspondence.
The Club is a non-profit organisation.
Note: After attendance at Three club events Your Membership Application will be taken to the next committee meeting for a discussion.
